This week we have visited Cheadle Mosque Association in Heald Green. We enjoyed finding out about what Muslims do in their place of worship, the features of a Mosque and how to write some Arabic letters. We will create a display outside the Year 2 classrooms of follow up work and photographs from the trip, please do come and have a look when you get the chance. In our art work we have made model tigers using air drying clay. We learnt how to shape the clay and stick pieces of clay together using slip. We look forward to painting them when the clay has dried.
Homework this week is grammar work. The children will be asked to identify and correctly punctuate the four different types of sentences: statements, questions, commands and exclamations.
With best wishes from
The Year Two Team
